I have to give it to our president. he gave a really amazing speech tonight. I dont know how to explain except that it was a great one. I highly encourage all of you to read the speech or listen to it. I would highly recommend listening to it because you can definately see the emotion of Bush as he gave it.

I GOT A JOB!!!

Its not too extravagant or exciting, but its a job. That is all I care about. I am going to be working at McDonalds. I will be working here until I can find a good job and a job that is doing something I want to. I just need to the income to pay the bills right now. I start sometime next week. Life will get busy. I am going to be working full time and doing 9 graduate hours. Crazy. I know.

I have figured out one of my topics for my papers. I am going to explore the navy of the confederate army. I became interested after I checked a book out from the library that sounded interested. So now I am going to write a 25 page paper on it. Next step after picking topic is to write an abstract. My paper for another class. Yeah i havent really thought about a topic yet. i have to write an abstract for that for next week. I should start on that.

Well, I think I am going to watch The Passion.

The second of week of classes have started and is almost over. Tomorrow is the first home football game. I cant go to it :( cause i have class at the exact same time. I will be staying on campus all day tomorrow because of the parking situation. I also need to hit the library. I need to find a book to read so i can write a review on it. Fun stuff. I also have to meet with my advisor and figure out my plan to get my masters and submit the paper work. Yippee sounds like soo much fun.

I have a job interview tomorrow. Its not some big fancy job place. It is only McDonalds. But it is a job interview and is the first place to call me back. I dont care if it is fast food. It is just a job. That is all i want right now. I can always look for something better and different later.

Last nights evening class was extremely boring. the prof talked about KS-NE-MO in pre civil war period. It was soo boring. he is soo focusing on MO way tooo much. I wish he wouldnt. I dont care too much about what happened in MO during the civil war like all the little battles. I have to read a 400 page book by class time next week and be able to know it inside and out. I still need to figure out a topic for my paper in this class. Any ideas anyone?

well, i guess i should get back to homework.

Oh, Tank, I will get you a letter out soon. I have been working on one on and off.

i thought i should update this. I went to my last class. He actually spoke for like 3 hours with only a 10 minute break over half way through the class. Those two three hour classes are going to be tough to stay awake in. For that last class I have to write five 5 page book reviews over books that are over 200 pages. I better get started on all this work.

I still havent found a job yet. It is getting annoying. I really need a job. I still am trying to keep a good attitude about everything.
